Job Description
The organisation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Renewable Energy Engineer with a specialization in offshore wind development to join their dynamic team in the organisation, England, UK. Qualifications:
A Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related the organisation discipline. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years focused specifically on offshore wind. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex offshore wind projects. Strong knowledge of offshore wind turbine technology, foundation design, subsea cables, and grid connection systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in relevant the organisation software and simulation tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage. Responsibilities will include:
Leading the technical design and the organisation aspects of offshore wind farms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conducting advanced feasibility studies and risk assessments for new offshore wind developments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, environmental consultants, and supply chain partners, to achieve project milestones. Developing and reviewing technical specifications, tender documents, and contractual agreements. Providing expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing mitigation strategies. Staying abreast of the latest technological advancements and market trends in the offshore wind sector. Contributing to the company's strategic objectives and business development efforts.
