The organisation is seeking a talented Senior Estimator to join a leading the organisation contractor in Brentwood, specializing in Decent Homes and Retrofit projects up to £5 million in value.

The Role:

As a Senior Estimator, you will be a key part of the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for refurbishment projects. This role offers a mix of office-based work in Brentwood with some flexibility to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing cost estimates for Decent Homes and Retrofit projects
Managing the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
Assessing risks and opportunities within each bid
Working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

What They’re Looking For:
Proven experience as an Estimator within a the organisation contractor environment
Strong knowledge of Decent Homes, Planned Maintenance, and Retrofit projects
Ability to price projects up to £5 million
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in estimating software and spreadsheet application
A team player with a keen eye for detail
