About the Role
This role will play a key part in our Reward and Benefits You will contribute to the strategic design, implementation, and ongoing administration of reward programs, while ensuring the effective management and continuous improvement of the HRIS platform. You will proactively support the delivery of all benefits and compensation offerings, and drive efficiency in system functionality, ensuring alignment with broader HR operations and wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits
• Assist in the development and maintenance of compensation and benefit structures to attract, retain, and motivate employees and ensure alignment with market trends.
• Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness and internal equality.
• Play a key role in operationalizing the Rewards and HRIS strategies.
• Administer benefit policy renewals and liaise with providers to resolve issues.
• Analyse reward data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to the senior HR team.
System Management and Process Improvement
• Maintain and support the day-to-day operations of the HRIS, ensuring system performance.
• Work closely with our third-party provider (Tugela) to troubleshoot system issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with HR teams to understand needs and translate them into system solutions.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of HRIS projects, including new module rollouts and system upgrades.
• Support change management by documenting processes, creating user guides, training users and promoting system adoption.
• The role requires meticulous attention to detail and for all work to be conducted strictly in accordance with company Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Human Resources, Business, Economics, or any other related field would be an advantage
CIPD membership or the organisation (Level 5 or higher) would be advantageous
Essential Experience:
Previous experience of working within an HR / Compensation and Benefits department
Experienced in using spreadsheet application for data analysis and reporting
Experienced in administering benefit platforms and Sage People Software
Strong knowledge of compensation structures and benefit administration
Proven capability of system optimization
Excellent numerical and analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
Knowledge of Employment Law
Accurate with a close attention to detail
Good stakeholder and relationship management
Data integrity and reporting skills
Excellent planning and organization skills - Ability to multi-task, manage time and accept changing priorities.
High proficiency in the use of productivity suite (especially MS word-processing application, MS spreadsheet application and presentation application)
