Job Title: Ticketing Service Agent
Location: Heathrow Airport
Contract Type: full-time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday (shift work)

A Ticketing Services Agent is responsible for making reservations, issuing tickets, re-issuing tickets, collecting payments for these and also any excess baggage charges or other services provided to the passengers of our handled airlines. As the role involves giving assistance to both passengers and colleagues, a Ticketing Services Agent must have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as initiative and resilience. Reporting any irregularities directly to the Ticketing Services Supervisor or Passenger Duty Manager and also liaising with internal customers such as our handled airlines, the Ticketing Services Agent must ensure a high level of customer service is provided.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, based on operational needs.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is advantageous.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling passenger information and documentation.
Duties
• Conduct guided tours of various or preferred tour locations, providing insightful commentary and engaging storytelling. Tour information and route provided.
• Host an enjoyable lunch or refreshments at the end of the tour at the designated location. Food and drink expenses included.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
• Stay updated on local history, culture, and current events to provide accurate information.
• Work well as part of the Tour Guide team.
Responsibilities:
What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience as a Tour Guide or in a public-facing role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage audiences of all ages.
• A friendly outgoing disposition with excellent interpersonal skills, including hosting lunch / refreshments.
• Sales skills to ensure ongoing promotion of tours.
• Regular availability, half or full-time preferred.
• The stamina to be on your feet and cover the areas walking in all safe weathers.
• Punctuality is essential, you will be present at the meeting point before the tour.
• Being located near central the organisation is advantageous.
Pay and Benefits
• Flexible part-time hours with the opportunity to select shifts and cover shifts in a of team of Tour Guides.
• For refreshments with the visitors at the end of the tour, you will have £0a day additional to your pay, reimbursed as expenses.
