School Receptionist - Crewe - September Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an organised and friendly administrator looking for a temporary role in a welcoming school environment?

Academics, a reputable education recruitment agency, is recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school in Crewe for a School Receptionist to join their team from September. This is an full-time, fixed-term role running until October initially, with the potential to be extended through to Christmas.

The Role:

• Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service for visitors, staff and students
• Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to general enquiries
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and school security processes
• Carry out general administrative duties to support the school office
• Maintain accurate records and assist with day-to-day office tasks

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 12:00pm - 4:15pm
• Friday: 12:00pm - 3:45pm

Requirements:

• Previous reception or administrative experience (school experience is desirable)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
