Hatched Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to support Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council's Leisure & Community Wellbeing team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or customer service professional to work at the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum, providing a high-quality front-line service to visitors, customers and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a professional reception service, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries
• Deal with customers face-to-face, by telephone and email
• Operate booking and cash systems, process payments and issue receipts
• Assist with museum shop sales, stock control and merchandising
• Maintain records, databases and administrative systems
• Provide general clerical and administrative support
• Promote council services, events and activities
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained at all times

Working Hours:

This role is 37 hours per week and operates on a two-week rolling rota:

Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday

Week 2: Monday to Friday

The working pattern may vary depending on operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administration or customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident dealing with members of the public
• Good IT skills, including experience using computer systems and databases
• Ability to handle payments and maintain accurate records
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently

Essential criteria:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including equivalent qualifications or relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year's experience in a customer service or receptionist environment
