This role offers remote working opportunities.
Your new role
As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will create clear, precise, and comprehensive documentation to support complex products, systems, and services. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product teams to transform intricate technical information into user-friendly content. Your primary focus will be on documenting supporting applications, data fields, associated contract SLAs, and the technical infrastructure within the a major public-cloud platform environment.

What you'll need to succeed
• Expertise in developing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help resources.
• Collaboration with engineers and product managers to collect and validate technical information.
• Ensuring documentation adheres to industry standards and is in line with company branding.
• Managing version control and updates throughout the product lifecycle.
• Proficiency in tools such as technical-authoring software, professional creative-software provider technical-authoring software, team knowledge-management software, and Markdown.
• Reviewing content and integrating stakeholder feedback effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Author or Technical Writer.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in documentation tools and content management systems.
• Familiarity with software development processes and associated technical terminology.
Desirable:
• Experience with structured authoring methodologies such as DITA/XML.
• Knowledge of UX principles and accessibility standards.
• Capability to create visuals, diagrams, and flowcharts to enhance documentation.
