BI Developer - £600/day via Umbrella - 3-month contract - Remote with ad hoc travel to the West Midlands - the organisation Flex Contract.

We are seeking a BI Developer to help transform complex data into compelling visual dashboards and reports. This role is home-based with occasional visits to the West Midlands and entails supporting data-led decision-making.

Your responsibilities as the BI Developer:

Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualise insights.
Create data-driven narratives to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance policies.
Optimise BI solutions for performance and scalability.
Provide user training and support for BI tools.
Maintain documentation and version control for BI assets.
Troubleshoot and resolve data visualisation issues.
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
As a successful BI Developer, you will have:

Proven experience in BI development or data science.
Strong proficiency in enterprise reporting and dashboarding tools.
Background in data warehouse design and data mining.
Experience with RDBMS (SQL, relational database platform) and automation in builds, deployments, and testing.
Business analysis skills to define and build analytic applications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
A detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a passion for accuracy.
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
