Trainee Machine Operator Nights Southend
Sunday to Thursday 10pm 6am £13.34 per hour/Temp to Perm

We're recruiting on behalf of our client in Southend, who's looking for a Trainee Machine Operator to join their night shift team.

If you've got some recent hands-on machine experience and want to build on it, this could be a great next step. You'll start at £13.34 per hour while you learn the ropes, and once you're confident running the machine on your own and, your pay will go up to reflect your new skills.

What you'll be doing:

• Learning how to set up, run, and keep an eye on the machine, with support from the team
• Getting to grips with the day-to-day routine on a busy night shift
• Following health and safety guidelines
• Flagging up any issues with quality or machine performance
• Working towards running things independently within a few months

What we're looking for:

• Recent experience operating machinery, even if it's just a few months
• Someone who's keen to learn and doesn't mind being trained
• Reliable, punctual, and happy working nights
• A good eye for detail and pride in doing the job properly
• A team player who gets on well with colleagues
