Ready for your next interim opportunity within Housing Options?
A local authority in Bedfordshire is looking to appoint an experienced Housing Options Officer to support their busy Prevention & Relief service on an initial 3-month contract.
This role would suit someone comfortable managing homelessness applications from first approach through to decision, whilst working proactively to prevent homelessness wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of Prevention and Relief duties
Conducting homelessness assessments and investigations
Producing and progressing Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)
Issuing statutory decisions, including Section 184 notifications
Working with applicants, landlords and partner agencies to prevent homelessnessWhat you'll need:
Recent Housing Options experience within a UK local authority
Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation
