Data Analyst - £720 /day via Umbrella - 3-month contract - Remote with ad hoc travel to West Midlands - flexible contract
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a major transformation programme focused on modernising data services within a modular cloud architecture on public cloud platform. This is a remote-first role with occasional travel to the West Midlands.

Your responsibilities as the Data Analyst:
Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines from diverse data sources, including RESTful the organisation.
Build and maintain data models, ensuring quality, integrity, and compliance.
Work within an Agile team to support the development of domain data services using Python, Java, and public cloud platform tools.
Lead data profiling, extraction, and transformation activities.
Support data migration, reporting, and performance tuning.
Ensure alignment with data privacy and security regulations.
Contribute to documentation, training, and continuous improvement.

As a successful Data Analyst, you will have:
5+ years in SQL and public cloud platform (object storage service, cloud data warehouse, managed relational database service, relational database, relational database).
Strong experience in data modelling, indexing, and performance optimisation.
Proficiency in Python and Java.
Familiarity with modular cloud architecture principles and Agile delivery.
Excellent communication and data presentation skills.
