Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a range of secondary schools across Merton to recruit enthusiastic day-to-day supply teachers from October 2026.

This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexible, short-term cover work, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while gaining experience across a variety of school environments.

Your role will include:

• Providing day-to-day classroom cover across KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting pupil progress
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Offering feedback to permanent staff when required

We're looking for:

• QTS with recent UK secondary classroom experience
• Confidence adapting quickly to new schools and year groups
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and positive student outcomes
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
