Our client, a leading provider in the veterinary care industry, is currently seeking a Risk Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and compliance of veterinary clinics and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying potential risks within the organisation and developing strategies to mitigate them

Implementing risk management policies and procedures

Conducting regular risk assessments and audits

Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards

Providing risk management training and support to staff

Collaborating with various departments to ensure comprehensive risk management

Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior management

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in risk management

Job Requirements:

Experience in risk management, ideally within a healthcare or veterinary sector

Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques and risk management principles

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies

Proficient in preparing and presenting clear, concise reports

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant certification in risk management or related field
