Clarence Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for an exciting short-term teaching opportunity within a well-established secondary school in Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate History specialist looking for flexible work while making a real impact in the classroom. The role will involve teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and encourage a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Whether you are an experienced History Teacher or an ECT looking to build valuable classroom experience, this short-term assignment offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment.

• Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Follow school schemes of work and maintain high teaching standards
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Promote excellent behaviour and classroom engagement

We are looking for a History Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
• Can quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
• Is adaptable, reliable, and able to hit the ground running
• Maintains high expectations for achievement and behaviour
