Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful secondary school in Leicestershire to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their thriving department on a full-time rolling contract starting in the new academic term.

This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring practitioner to teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to embrace healthy lifestyles, develop confidence and resilience, and participate fully in both curriculum and extracurricular sport.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Inspire students to develop teamwork, confidence, leadership and resilience.

Promote participation in a wide range of sports and physical activities.

Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events.

Support the continued development of an inclusive and engaging PE curriculum.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level.

Be confident delivering PE across KS3 and KS4.

Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Have high expectations of student achievement and participation.

Be enthusiastic about extracurricular sport and school enrichment activities.

Possess strong communication and organisational skills.

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
