Change and Release Coordinator

As our next Change and Release Coordinator, you’ll apply the Society's Change & Release Management policy, practices and procedures to ensure that changes are implemented efficiently and effectively to deliver value to customers whilst minimising service disruption. You’ll join a likeminded team in our Bradford based IT Delivery function, with working from home capability.
The organisation is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
About the role
As Change and Release Coordinator you’ll manage all IT-related change implementation requests through full lifecycle, applying YBS governance standards to assure integrity of Live systems and services. You will -
• Support the Major Incident Management process when an emergency change is required, ensuring prompt delivery into Live whilst maintaining governance standards
• Assess and verify the risks associated with any proposed changes and releases, ensuring the implementation, testing and backout plans are robust and facilitate high quality, successful deliveries
• Co-ordinate the Change Approval Board process, ensuring relevant data is presented, appropriate oversight given and quorum maintained. Ensure accurate minutes are issued and actions tracked in line with audit requirements
• Manage the Routine change process, analysing potential candidates, investigating generated incidents, verifying suitability for routine status and removing authority to maintain routine status where unacceptable detriment to Live service has occurred
• Drive the Early Life Support period following major implementations, engaging with teams across IT & Transformation to support Incident Management process and ensure efficient response to issues
• Produce month end KPI reporting and dashboards, applying analysis and insight to feed into IT & Transformation Risk Committee
About you
You will have -
• Excellent analytical skills
• The ability to use a wide range of communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate and influence at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
• Preferably, although not essential, a good understanding of implementation planning and facilitation, Service Management processes, and a broad understanding of IT
