Job description
What you’ll do:
• Develop and maintain a Gatling-based performance testing framework integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define non-functional requirements and performance acceptance criteria.
• Analyze performance test results and production metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvements.
• Work with modern technologies including containerisation software, container-orchestration software, real-time messaging technologies, and NoSQL databases.
• Mentor junior testers and drive continuous improvement in performance testing practices.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Performance Tester to join a high-performing team working on a global streaming platform that powers millions of users across video-on-demand and live services.

Senior Performance Tester - Non-functional - 3 month contract - paying £550 Inside IR35 - Hybrid (2 days a week)

What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years’ experience in non-functional/performance testing for large-scale applications.
• Hands-on experience with Gatling and open-source performance tools.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, source-code management platforms Actions, Gradle/Maven).
• Skilled in monitoring/logging with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Scala, general-purpose programming languages, Shell).
